this was supposed to go up last weekend, but Jack had his tenth Birthday party, including Laser tag with friends and Dungeons and Dragons with the gang, plus having all the family over. Anyway, I'm still alive and plugging along on Bruno here. I kinda like this James guy. I mean, I wouldn't want him to know where I live or anything, but he's cool.

Fair point, why stop at the beach when you could bury the body in the ocean?

I mean, you could bury him up to the neck at low tide, and the motion of the ocean will take care of things itself...

that seems to have been our culprit's plan, but it also seems James here would have done things differently.

Have you seen the movie Creepshow? One of its "chapters" features burying someone so he/she will drown at high tide. The name of that chapter is "Something to Tide You Over".

My parents took me to see it in theaters when I was five or six years old. I'm guessing they didn't have a babysitter. It was traumatizing. I stayed up late watching Wonder Woman on the 13" black and white tv in the kitchen while my parents tried to explain fake blood with a ziplock bag full of water and a fork.

I love Creepshow. I recommend it. I get a little squicked out at the last one, which features icky bugs, but the rest of the movie I simply find hugely entertaining.

Stephen King is not a great actor, but he is purely fun to watch in his segment.

And Leslie Nielson is great in the "Something to Tide You Over" segment. He plays the bad guy. Spoiler alert, justice does get served to him in the end.

James is a real practical guy. A problem solver. I wish I could get him to fix some things at my house.. as long as I'm on his good side anyway ;)

I have never heard a real investigation or was a part of one, lmao, and movies and anything else is acted but... Kind of cool how chill James is. I am not sure how many people would casually lead the conversation when pretty much asked: "Yo son, I suspect you might have done (insert whatever)". Heh. Even if they did nothing wrong.

I imagine it being kind of akin to the "fight or flight response". You're in a stressful situation, and you either get scared or get aggressive. That or maybe this guy just knows he's got nothing to worry about.. maybe ;)

He go to a hardware store six times to fix a shower? Now I'm proud of my housekeeping and fix-stuff knowledge XD Ha! good point at "I do like to finish what I start".

you're doing better than I am, I tried to stop a leaky faucet handle. I replaced the stem, and the seat, and so far I've got the leak to stop, but as soon as I use the shower, it starts dripping again, and I have to take the handle off and tighten the stem again.. I have no idea how to stop that.
